I'd define it as a band that has made a lasting mark upon metal and appeals to the majority of the people here (or a lesser known band with a fair share fervent defenders on the forum, like Drudkh or Rev. Bizarre), or one that isn't universally appreciated, but inspires frequent debate and discussion (Opeth most obviously).
Well stated.

Pagan Altar has 7 votes. Rev Bizarre has 6 votes.

Can someone say, "lame"? :loco:

By the way, Zod, when you count these up, you should take those that scored 10 and higher (as opposed to 5).

I've never heard a single note by either band.

10 or more votes, will leave us with at least 20 bands. Plus, I was planning on putting together one last round, to cover my oversights. Do you still want it at 10 or more, or would you like to limit it to the Top ___ (fill in blank) vote getters?

We need one more round, because a top RC list without Slough Feg would be like... wrong.
Yeah. I think I left these guys out for two reasons. One... personal bias. I never much cared for these guys. Then I saw them live, and I really grew to dislike them. Two... we already had Hammers in the list. One Scalzi band is more than enough for any list (in my estimation). That said, I'll make sure they go in the final round.
