Show us your studio 2011 [room / racks / backline]

^ Nice man! Do those presonus mixers double as a control surface, or are they just analog mixers?

They are linked together to give 32 channels. They do not act as a control surface (unfortunately). I have a presonus fader port for that at this point but it is something I GAS for!

Cheers guys.

Hmmm... Is that a 16 channel Soundcraft Spirit LC?

^That is a tiny control room. Do you mix in there or do you take the files somewhere else? The live room looks quite nice though.

Yep, space restrictions. I wasn't allowed to build anything bigger or I had to pay about 10.000 more, which would be 50% directly to the government for building permissions.

On the photo it looks smaller as it is tho, it's deeper and the desk is quit big. It's almost finished now, photos are allready 1.5 week old, ceiling is in and back corners are treated. The whole room is inside out. First measurements seem ok, will hire somebody later this year to do the final tuning.

Where did you get rack rails from? I built my own desk but bought a Proel 4U and stole the rails off of it because i couldn't find rails anywhere!

I bought them from Sam Ash, but I've also bought them from Musician's Friend, and I know Guitar Center and Sweetwater both carry them on their website.

New desk with the rack built, just waiting on the rails to be delivered, so I can put the gear in! Oh, and my new monitors to arrive ;)

Put the new monitors on the desk to see how they look, gonna put a coat of poly on the rack and screw in the rails tomorrow... If bigger is better, these things should definitely deliver :kickass:

P.S. Yes, that is Shape magazine... It belongs to my girlfriend, I swear!

My humble setup. DI & Reamp Boxes hidden behind the rack leading to the patch bay to have it clean on the desk.
