He's been adamant for a while that it'd be released this month, so in the next 6 days?

Apparently Acustica Audio is releasing an Acqua version of a 1176 in the next couple of weeks, will be very interesting to see how this stacks up against VMR. Plus the Acqua Trinity EQ vs VMR Neve emulation.

Anyway, I am also hanging out for VMR. My bet is just before AES.

It has just entered beta testing. Probably won't take all that long anymore. I can totally understand Steven not wanting to share any more info before release after all that has been posted in the VMR thread at Gearslutz.

Obviously that's a closed beta?

Last I heard it was in beta and practically finished, though I'm not sure if Steven is maybe holding VMR back until the FGX/VCC port is finished in order to not get more flack?

Had a dig through the gearslutz thread and it looks like VMR won't be waiting up for VCC/FGX, 5 days ago he said it would be "released any minute", and the beta build that went out 2 days ago Steven expects to be the final release,
So it does look like we're close.

He said in the emails he's been sending out that FGX should be ready for next month. From what he said earlier, no Slate Digital releases will be made until FGX and VCC is done.
