yeh again sounding really good and cant pick out too many things with it! - really like the tom sounds on this - were all your samples through 2.0? i'd maybe be tempted to turn the cymbals/overheads/ride bell slightly down - think i also prefer having the breakdown before the ending with no drums as opposed to the cymbal hits you put in on the beats - as you know theres some similar parts (with like the melodc breakdowns) in the other tracks where i put in cymbal hits - wanted this one to be slightly different! let me know what you think anyways-thanks jeff! should be starting work on my mix later today

Here's an updated imx, which IMO is a ton better. I brought the drums down a lot, made the vocals sit a little better, fucked with the synths and tried to EQ the guitars so that agreed with the drums. I checked everything with Voxegeno SPAN and realized the mix was lacking top end, so eq'd the OH, snare, and guitar for that.

yeh - that mix is quite a bit better - personally not too sure about the snare sound/sample though -on some sections it sits in the mix well on other occasions its still kinda drowning the other things out - some of the synth stuff sounds pretty cool - maybe make it a little subtler though - may need to work on the balance on when the second guitar harmony comes in on the solo section also but yeh thanks for the mixes - let me know what you think!

im pretty happy with everything in that mix - only very tiny thing maybe would make the hi hat slightly quieter in there/maybe change the eq on the harmony solo parts - anyone else have any thoughts?!! - what setup did you use/which of the files etc.

I decided to do something completely different this time around. I really fucked with the guitars a lot, and sort of pulled a "Clayman", if you will. I felt like the guitars were too mid-ish, and were confining the mix. I changed the snare sample, and messed with the kick too. I also added some grind to the bass.

Yeah, basically this is a total remix lol

yeh i think its quite a big improvement - in a way has a bit more of a natural feel- take it you used the acoustic edited drums and sampled/charlies bass file? just a couple of things - there seem to be a couple of false triggers on the kick drum, and the final vocoder vocal comes in quite a bit stronger than the clean - can kinda notice the jump. Quite like that you've brought the synth part out a bit more of the end though. Thanks

hey - thanks for the new mixes - yeh everythings sounding great - probably slightly prefer the ones you've done with the krank but they both sound really good - dont have too many new suggestions for now - anyone else?!!!

yeh sounding decent! - cant pick out too many faults at the mo - would maybe bring out the synth part a little more at the end but thats about it? what bits were u planning on tweaking a little more?! apologies been a little slow getting back recently - assignment work load has become ridiculous past few days
