Cool, I'm going to have to check into them. I was seriously considering going back to VW, as I love the new Passat and my car-enthusiast friends are raving about them. The VW dealer that either myself or my family has purchased 4 cars from in the past 15 years is also the northeast's largest Audi dealer, so....

I'm driving a 2003 Saab 9-3 Linear SS (sports sedan) right now. I fucking hate it and will never ever buy anything GM has "tainted" again.

i would have agreed with when they came out, but they ahev grown on me. It really took balls on BMW's end to do such drastic changes.

Even with all that ... the current 7 Series is THE BEST SELLING 7 series in their history ...

The only series I like of the newer body style is the 3-series (still so fucking cool), the 645 coupe (that car is gorgeous) and the M's. The M3 is my tippity-top dream car to own.

I did too! I loved the new body style, and the attention to performance they were finally paying to the brand!

I can't even begin to list all the shit I've had to deal with, but put it this way: I'm in my 33rd month of a 3-year lease, and it's been in for service (not regular check-ups) over 20 times in 3 years. Unacceptable.

I hang out with a couple of SERIOUS gearheads, and seriously, they RAVE about the new Passat. Trust me when I tell you that these guys know cars.

@NAD: I like the 9-2X as well (AWD is big selling point for me, provided it's not an SUV); I'm going to consider one of these as well, provided my dealer is willing to bend over and take it up the ass sans lube to keep my business.

note the qualifier "new". "new" dodge chargers have 6 trillion horsepower but will fall apart in a couple years just like the new passat will and frustrate their owners to no end. except their german parts will cost 4-5 times anything else.

no i know for a fact it's a WRX, i kinda wish i would've waited for them because Saab was selling them for $19k a few months after i bought my WRX. NOBODY was buying them, and GM loves to throw a million rebates out there. ehh, no big deal.

GM owns 20% of Subaru, so they snag up their rides and rebadge them sometimes. that one Saab SUV thing is actually a Tribeca.

the sad thing is that Chrysler/Dodge has better sales and reliability then Mercedes now ... The new Charger I hears is actually built on an E Class chassis ... scary shit.

MB lost so much of their exclusive clout over the last 5 years ...
