'Something good happened today' <--You? Post here!

:bah: I merely made an odd sound in its presence "WHOA" to be exact then it just looked mad... really mad. It annoys me how it totally poned me in my own backyard, i was scared to go up there incase it was still waiting for me. It probably had rabies, or just pooped out some cubs and thought I was going to hurt them. Either way I think to "haul ass" was the best a possibly only alternative (for the good of my family and country).

so there was this huge thunderstorm last night, and today I don't have school because some roads are flooded. also, my parents are leaving today and will be out of town for a week, so that should be nice. :Spin:
 
Oh yes, my parents are also away for a week or so, that's quite good too. I'll be able to relax a tad when it's just me in the house (although my brother will be here in the evenings).
 
So far today i got my first present, more to come tomorrow. :D
I also bought a lot of drinks for tomorrow night, spent time with friends, will spend more time with friends, and will drink a lot. :D
Oh, and i got lots of sms-es with fancy wishes. :grin:
 
Happy name day. What would I have to change my name to in order to celebrate one of those sometime in the next week or so? :P

Today I received the written notification that a $21,000 scholarship had been released to my account in the University for the upcoming year.

SWEET!!! We havn't had a storm in ages :cry: but there was a violent front of rain that's aparently getting everything very very wet here in the UK, unfortunately it missed me by, I'd say, about 5 miles. School "cancelled because of storm" is the best thing ever you lucky son of a gun!!!

I know, I have never had school cancelled because a storm my whole life. (well snowstorms, but not thunderstorms) I was so damn surprised when i saw it on the news this morning. Good stuff.
 
I'm happy because I just managed to book tickets to go and stay in England for a month :grin: Or 26 days to be exact - I just hope I won't become too much of an annoyance by the time I go back ;) :D
 
Wow, what a lot of movement there is this summer.

I'm relatively happy because quite a few other people seem to be happy. :p That's a good thing for today. Oh, also I have beer and Pringles.
