After I listened to Ghost Reveries for the 1st time, my opinion on Ghost of Perdition was that it best showcased all of their talents & provided a little taste of the old & the new. So many great elements captured in one song. Truly a Great Song !!!

Its not all about technical difficulty. Drapery has some really smooth and stunningly thoughful transitions. That aside, The Moor is a marvel beyond words.

The reason i mentioned The Drapery Falls is one of the songs that showcase Opeth, is that it is both brutal and beautiful at the same time, because there are acoustic passages, death metal brutality and both clean and growled vocals...That why!
