At least Saddam kept it in his own country. They're both bad guys but Bush has managed to fuck over more people than just in his country.

Some of the policy he has/tried to introduced to stem the falling economy were sound in theory, and have worked in practice before. Actually a lot of it was very similar to that implemented by the Howard government here, and look where we are!
(For those who don't know, our economy is unbelievably strong at the moment. The fact that we not only survived 2001-2004, but continued to grow is oustanding from an economic viewpoint. It makes for great study.)

that's quite possible, especially considering that a lot of the election will be conducted via computerised polling machines that create NO papertrails and therefore make it impossible to do a manual recount or any other accuracy checks.
