The Books/Reading Thread

Starring Ron Jeremy.
Oh, God. Ron Jeremy in Elric cosplay.

The cover of the film would be Ron doing the pose from Elric at the End of Time.

Anyone ever read this or come across it in their travels? It was written by anthropologist Penny Miller, who happens to be the mother of filmmaker Richard Stanley (Hardware, Dust Devil) Ever since hearing Stanley bring it up in an interview its been beckoning me to it, but I don't really feel like paying $40 for it which is the cheapest I've found it for so far. Fascinating content and the artwork is pretty great (courtesy of this page):

This is probably worth $40. One of my old teachers has a copy of it and he spoke extremely highly of it.

Yeah l was recommended the Southern Reach trilogy, that will be next on my list l feel. Although l have to say l was a tad disappointed in City of Saints & Madmen. There are a few terrific stories and some honestly bland going nowhere stories. l also didn't get a great feel for his city as l have done with Meville'. His stuff is amazing, The Scar was terrific.
lm reading Steph Swainston' The Castle Omnibus at the minute and it is beyond good. Utterly fantastic.
