The Books/Reading Thread

I just finished Turgenev - Fathers and Sons for one of my classes. It was really good and I could tell it was superbly written even though it was a translation. I'd recommend it for anyone interested in Russian history.

I've read that one too. Sad ending... then again it is Russian. :p
I put down Thus Spake Zarathustra for now... honestly I'm not getting anything out of it. I haven't put a book down in years but this is so tedious.
So... I've picked up a Solomon's biography of Beethoven... enjoyable thus far.

Been on a Jack London kick lately. Just ordered myself "The Call of the Wild, White Fang, and To Build a Fire" -- I have all 3 already, just as separate pieces of literature, so it'll be nice to have all 3 in one book. And then I also ordered "Smoke Bellew" by Jack London...should hopefully be receiving these by Saturday or Monday.
