The Gaming Thread

And finished the game. And at this point I dont understand people.

The plot was okay. I would even say that it was very good in the middle (since at the end I could predict too much and someone was trying to pull off Hollywood too much. Cmon, 70 % of the game wasnt like that, who wanted Hollywood already stopped playing). Characters were played fantasicaly.
Gameplay sucked till the end and in one mission it was infuriating. But complaining about gameplay in this type of game is like complaining about plot in sport games.

For me ~7/10 and feeling of emptyness. Dont know yet if because I finished the game I enjoyed or because of slight dissapointment at the end.
I also can see that they left some small window for possible continuation but I dont think it's gonna happen.

Forgot to mention, second biggest complaint seemed to be about confusing timeline. Yes, at first I was also confused why the game had to be made this way but later you get it and you have no problem understanding when the shit;s happening. If you have problems with that it only means youve got a problem with paying a fucking attention.

Is there any game where mission where someone follows you arent cancer?

I just remembered Silent Hill 4, half of the game was escort mission :tickled:

Escorts missions are the worst. Yes, please hinder my progress by making me babysit a complete idiot who seem determined to get themselves killed, and almost gets me killed in the process.

The Last of Us had perfect solution and kinda hilarious.

Youre babysitting this girl and she sneaks with you too. But even if she bit the cock of your enemies they wouldnt notice her and you wont be detected.

SH4, eugh... I liked the story/atmosphere, but some of the gameplay decisions made it unplayable for me tbh. limited backpack, needing to go back and forth between the room/outside world, taking damage while being in the room etc

Yup, beating the same levels twice + limited backpack was total shit, almost ruined the game for me.

Yea, I considered it, its turn based, but not TACTICAL and I prefer tactical turn based games exdee.

But it's on my radar anyway, Ive heard great reviews and will definitely give it a try when I have time and im done with other games on the waiting list.

Which is Dishonored 2 for now but my PC can barely handle it and playing it is a chore for now :(

darkest dungeon is super fun

its not a tactics grid game, but it will make you think out a lot of what youre doing.

perfect risk/reward system haha, my greed is the biggest source of my never finishing it.

only game i bought in early access that i didnt regret lol

every time the narrartor say "overconfidence is a slow and incidious killer" im like i know mom jesus *promptly dies*

Figured since I already have PS4 hooked up I could finally try this Uncharted series.

Currently playing first game and I need opinions if somebody played it, because gameplay for now is absolute shit and I dont really enjoy adventure game with obnoxious characters. Is it any good later or is it like poor Tomb Raider with the most convenient placed TNT boxes inside ancient tombs ever?

uncharted one is pretty much the same all the way through, tougher enemies and better guns. i liked it for the feel of the guns (seriously, most games guns dont have enough "weight to them". id play perfect dark all the way through with just a pistol because the sound and kick of it just felt so right)

dunno about the rest of them, i didnt like any enough to buy them, mostly just played at a friends house. so by now youve realized you have pretty much wasted your time reading this post, and yet youre still reading. kinda sucks doesnt it but you gotta know how it ends right? well i guess i could tell you a joke to make up for it, everyone likes a good joke.

you, youre the joke, for reading this, for continuing to read this, and for wanting more, ya filthy animal

Yeah, im probably not gonna finish this game. It's really lame and boring.

But that sucks, because I thought I have 3 games to play, but now since Uncharted is out of the way Ive got nothing to play. Sure, I still've got Heavy Rain cos it was bundled with Beyond Two Souls, but id rather play it when im really desperate on story driven game.

Came up with amazing idea.

Gonna buy wireless mouse, and stack a chair on a table and put laptop on top of it. Then im gonna play fucking heartstone while running on a treadmill.

Cancer fueled rage will power up my organism and I will be unstopable, after a week of such workouts I should be able to compete in MMA.

Or I will die from hearth attack after seeing bullshit topdecks and ridiculous RNG and by heart will already be weak after running.
