^Yeah, where I live, fundamentalist Protestant Christianity is really the only form of religion here, there's a couple Catholic churches that are small but that's it, and they all believe in the same principles basically of Hell, Heaven, and you go to Hell foreveer if you're not a Christian, which is what my fmaily believes. I think the Southern Baptists are the dominant rleigion here.

It's one of the more hypocritical denominations, in other words a lot of people will have gone to a Baptist church a couple times in ther life, still believe all taht stuff about Jesus, live thier own life the way they want and not by the church(drinking, gambling, etc..), and are basically Baptist in name only.

hard to explain

well, it again goes back to the no idol God thing. we no longer blame phonomenoem (i had fun trying to spell that)on posiden or something. we know a lot about more about plagues and weather patterns and christians think that God is just judging us, and things dont happen beacause we angered a god.

i hope im doing a good job explaining. it like christians have these dietys they dont even know much about more than most other religions in history. and it makes it harder to disprove stuff to them. its always "well, maybe evolution is God's tool" or " i was scared during the cuban Missle Crisis because the bible says that god will destroy the earth with fire, and maybe that was his way" .
