The I love Logic 9 thread!

I haven't tried them on guitars yet, just on drums and synths LOL. I loved that you can move the mics around and there's some tonal variation that's usable with it. Unlike Guitar Rig that just sounds like shit in any position. I think for a free/bundled software it's fantastic, much better than what you get from Digidesign, Eleven Free.

I'd probably not have to buy PODFarm, but I don't know for sure.

I have PodFarm Platinum and it absolutely murders Amp Designer for high-gain material.

i have actually used Amp Designer on some synths on a Dubstep album i'm mixing at the moment, so it does definatly have its uses. and yes, ultimately its free, so there is little to complain about.

Logic 9: Tips for phase-locked drum edits

Gonna have to experiment and see if this is better or worse or even just faster than beat detective & Elastic Audio

i can't get this to fucking work at all.

Deleting a flex marker doesn't apply to all tracks.

and please for the love of god tell me the command to get the playback to start from the last place I started from and NOT where I stopped playback.

This was my biggest complaint with 8, and it was supposedly fixed in 9.

I can't fucking find it in any goddamn menu and there's nothing in the (software only!!! what the FUCK!?) manual. Pissed off over here! I cannot work with that pause/play shit. I use a DAW instead of tape so I don't have to rewind all the fucking time, you know?

I posted that really drunk last night and am now :lol:ing at how angry/coherent I was.

That wording makes no sense though - I searched in the key commands for a while before for phrases like "return to last position" or "playhead." I guess I needed to think a little simpler!

If you just set that "Play or Stop and go to last locate position" to space, it behaves like it should!
