I wish AC/DC to come in Romania next year.:worship:

wow, would have loved to see that. how was?

i played two shows over the weekend with my favourite band in the world (besides opeth) - ne obliviscaris
Fucking shattered I couldn't make it to Ne O, SMW. Was sick as a dog on the weekend, still a little atm, almost shaken it off. Sorry I missed it man, both for you and me as it would have raped :(. Will have to wait. I'm guessing you had a ball?

Amon Amarth was an AMAZING concert. In the top three I could say for all the concerts I've been too. It was by far the most dificulty I've ever had going to a concert. I couldn't go alone and for months I couldn't find anyone who wanted to go with me. I finally convinced one of my friends to go with me. Then all of the tickets but the dinner seats ($55!) were sold out. Grudgingly I paid the $55 dolars for the tickets. Then... I GOT A CALL FROM TICKETS.COM SAYING THAT MY PURCHASE DIDN'T GO THROUGH AND TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I made a painting to see if I could use some mind tricks to get me in. Then I went to the venue and they eventually started selling extra tickets. Then, after I had already bought the tickets, my ticket fell out of my pocket in my car. They WOULD NOT let me in. Finally after searching and searching, I found my ticket and got in.
The show was absolutely amazing though. I got to meet every band which was cool and I gave them all my business card. I was impressed by The Absence but I didn't really like Belphegore or Ensferium. The energy level was THROUGH THE FUCKING ROOF. It was insane. It was probably the best crowd I've ever been in! The pit was sick too. Someone in the pit had chainmail! I thought that was epic...
A pic from the show (with Johan holding the painting):

P.S. No, I'm not a chick... I've got to grow some facial hair...

why couldn't you go alone. i went alone because my friends aren't into them. Fuck that shit, i'm not gonna miss a show just because someone wont go with me

p.s, i thought you were a chick at first glance

What do you guys say - should I go see Whitenake?

If you like them, sure... I don't.

I'm bummed... I can't make it to see WitTR. I'm going to a stupid festival concert thingy instead. I think Duffy is headlining.... :erk: :puke: :erk: :puke: Ugh... I hate that song.

Went last night to Jose Gonzalez - awesome! Way more energetic than I expected, and I got to see my favourite songs of his played live (especially Cycling Trivialties, which was brilliant with added vocal harmonising in the end). He also did some great covers, as was expected.
the only problem I had was that it was a bit too loud, which was odd, since the dude who warmed him up had perfect volume. Also, was a bit short, but that was ok since his songs are short.

anyone know what kind of merch wolves in the throne room has for the current american tour? im seeing them on tuesday.

Saw Metallica, Down and The Sword last night. Decent show although I was hoping for more stuff from Justice and Master. They did play some cool stuff from Kill Em All and Lightning so all was not lost. Very commercial show. The stage was set up really cool because it was in the middle so everyone except the drummer walk around and could face any direction they wanted. There were mic stands all around so everyone got to see them for at least part of the time.

Down fucking rocked! They played 45 min and had about 5 minutes in the middle where the sound went out. Phil was storming around the stage pissed off. I thought they were going to walk off the stage. They didn't play the good songs from the new album which was weird. I really wanted to hear 3 Suns & 1 Star. Oh well. At least they played Bury Me In Smoke.

The Sword was solid as well. They played 30 min. I was glad to see the crowd really into them. After they finished, a lot of people were saying that they weren't expecting much but were glad they showed up early.

Alright, I went to Jethro Tull yesterday! Fucking great show, lots of old people. Ian Anderson and Martin Barre were of course there, the other players were newish guy, they were alright though. Ian's voice isn't very good anymore, the rest was top notch. Great songs too, Aqualung, Thick As A Brick, My God, Song For Jeffrey... Very glad I finally got to see them, they're one of my favourite bands.

^ pardon me, but i have to say it, you lucky bastard. i saw them when i was 15, i'm 29 now, i snuck into a show they were playing here, in my hometown (bangalore, india).

going to watch Satyricon and Sahg on the 7th of November here in Bangalore, India :kickass: :kickass: :kickass: :kickass:
