3. A Beautiful Mind
4. Crash
5. They

Odd list I think, but those movies are amazing.
Very strange indeed. I never thought I'd see a movie as bizarre as Crash topping anyone's list, but heh

I will be flamed for this but... guys I really don't know why you adore LOTR movies so much. I was sleeping on the third part at the cinema, and Frodo is pissing me off.

My 10 favourite movies:
1. Casino
2. Se7en
3. Reservoir Dogs
4. Requiem For A Dream
5. The Sixth Man
6. Terminator 2
7. American Psycho
8. Alien (the second part)
9. The Fight Club
10. The Exorcist

Many people mention Butterfly Effect. For me it is just average.

Yes, you're right. :) Besides the acting is unconvincing, I never liked Ashton Cutcher or whatever his name is.

Gotta list my fav movies now:

Star Wars saga
Back To The Future trilogy
Living Dead saga
The Exorcist
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Pulp Fiction
Friday The 13th (1 and 2 only)

Clash Of The Titans
Monty Python and The Holy Grail
The Beastmaster
Fight Club

Seven
Natural Bron killers
Running Scared
Sin City
Akira
Clerks
The Omen
Crank

3. Commando
4. Aliens
5. Airplane

I read a lot of thriller novels that I wish were made into movies. My favorite authors are Dan Brown, Clive Cussler and James Rollins.

Those two are in my top 10, as well as:

Braveheart
Interview with a Vampire
The Village
Dark Prince (Movie based on Vlad the Impaler)
Riddick Saga
Dawn of the Dead (original)
Helen of Troy (miniseries)
Azumi (samurai film)

edit: I would also add "Beyond the Wall of Sleep" which is based on an HP Lovecraft story

wtf might as well...

eric schaeffer's "fall" & "wirey spindell"
"high fidelity" w/ cusack
the recent "lolita" w/ jeremy irons, the kubrick one is crap.
"begotten" by elias merhige is astonishing, but i don't feel like watching it more than once ever other year.
"kids in the hall: brain candy"
"amadeus"
"p.c.u."

i can't think of any more... movies aren't really very good usually... anyone who has the money to make a major motion picture usually must be a slave to too many masters to actually produce quality art... except for Woody Allen...

standard stuff... clerks, fight club, svper tr00pers, the ring i guess... i just saw "i {heart} huckabees" and i thought it would be some kind of shit but it's one of the best movies i've ever seen featuring A-list actors... maybe A-minus list actors and Dustin Hoffman, but still...
