rule 1 - just because you "know" the members of a band doesnt mean the band is good. stop acting like it does.
rule 2 - naming even the most obscure bands that exist in the deepest recess of the underground doesnt mean you know more about heavy metal than i do
rule 3 - goes along with rule 2 - just because a band may exist in the deepest recess of the underground and are relatively unknown to the majority of the metal community doesnt mean the band is any good at all, and it certainly doesnt make you cool for claiming to be a fan of them.
rule 4 - listening to a few songs from 1,000,000 different bands and declaring the bands who have songs you like "amazing" makes you a fake metal fan. devote time to bands you like because you'll get a richer gratification from their music over time.
