The most underestimated, unappreciated song from Opeth is.....

I think Opeth's first two albums in general are under appreciated by the majority of Opeth fans themselves, it's always, BWP, SL and MAHYH. While they are great albums, and possibly superior to Opeth's first to efforts, I don't feel they get the appreciation they deserve.

people who got into opeth after sl or bwp tend to like the first two albums a little less than those who got into opeth with orchid, morningrise or mayh.

i agree with dirge for november and april ethereal, and BTW the reason Mike dosent like BTPISIO is cuz of that long ass silence in the end which they screwed up...i think. I dunno how the backward vocals ended up there but its creepy as hell.

BENEATH THE MIRE

Quoted for being the fuckin' truth.

I'll also throw in Forest of October. Those dual solo's are godly and it hasn't been played in forever and no one hardly mentions it.

how is April Ethereal underappreciated? it's gotten more than a fair share of praise here

there aren't many candidates for song choices in this thread

another song that has been left behind like a crack baby at an orphanage is.... "WHEN"

now that songs creeps up on you like red wine!
