The most underestimated, unappreciated song from Opeth is.....

The Night and the Silent Water is one of my favorite Opeth songs.
its my all-time favorite song. there is something so gorgeous about it. every single riff.

too bad the production is so horrible.

edit: my version cuts in and out constantly on the audio channels. has anyone else had this problem?

Moonlapse Vertigo EASILY

No one even realizes it exists, and it is one of their best songs imo.

 Yeah i think you and I are the only ones who know it exists.

maybe this is a bad episode of the twilight zone. :erk:

The Night and the Silent Water- I know a lot of people have given it a second chance recently and even Mike did too on the recent tours, but it's still pretty underrated. I'd consider it in their top 5 songs, definitely.

id have to say amen corner... or maybe karma... lol i kid i kid... ahh i gotta agree with you with btpisio... its aan awesome song and it really is underappreciated, granted it has the zerg-like growls at the beginning, but throughout the song the musicianship and the sheer power in mikes growls is just breathtaking.

nah the song pretty much blows tbh

case in point. You along with the majority of others here think the same way towards btpisio.....(excluding myself and a select few).

So we can conclusively say, "btpisio, IS the most underestimated, unappreciated song from Opeth!"

if a song sucks, how can someone appreciate it... what the hell are you talking about

a "song sucking" is subjective. If I were to shout out, (at an Opeth concert), "play BTPISIO!" I would get dirtly looks and negative criticism...and would most likely end up in a fight. Why? you might ask....well, because BPISIO is, the MOST underestimated and unappreciated song...that's why!

I concur. It's underestimated because most people don't understand that the production just didn't come out like Mikael wanted to, and it is actually a pretty cool song concept. It's unappreciated because hardly anyone likes it, not even Mikael (which puts him at BTPISIO and Karma?).

just because ppl dont like a song doesnt mean its underappreciated. i cant believe im explaining this to you... a underappreciated song refers to a song that is underappreciated that SHOULD be appreciated, aka has good qualities that are often overlooked. jesus fucking christ.
