The Official Band/Project/Whatever (yours or anyones) Promotion Thread

wow the new dark empire tracks are amazing!i especially like how the song prelude haunted has the beautiful piano intro that leads into the mandatory head banging riff

Since we had to delay the album from the initial release date, we decided to add another two tracks from Humanity Dethroned to our myspace for everyone to listen to! These tracks are unmastered, so you may need to turn the volume up a bit. These two are among my personal favorite DE songs ever, so I hope you enjoy them!

Humanity Dethroned is sounding really balls. :headbang: Jeremy did one hell of a job with it. I've been meaning to ask though where you get the choir patch also. Is it from a module or a sample bank?

Matt - Still haven't put up "No Sign of Life"? You knew I was going to ask.

We got in a magazine from Poland. Link to pics thread. Okay, I'm done spamming the board with that now. It's 5:30 AM and I'm excited, sorry.
Mazel tov Jeff! :headbang:

Ooh, nice!! So I do have that choir sound available to me.. Or is the one in Logic Express not the same as Logic Pro?

Just got news about this, and figured I'd passit on to my friendly metal heads here:

Hey guys,

My band and I recently performed Dream Theater's "Erotomania" and Liquid Tension Experiment's "Acid Rain" for my recital workshop class at Berklee. Check out the vids, I hope you dig them. (Not perfect yet, but hey we only had one rehearsal beforehand so they'll be better in the future )

In my high school, a friend of mine auditioned for and got accepted to Berklee for drums, and he couldn't afford to go even with scholarships. It's so expensive that it's uncool.

I like the stories of musicians that were at Berklee and quit to pursue their careers and became highly successful. It was a pretty run down place summer of 75
