despite being still in hospital, got my mum to get me Massive Attack's latest album Heligoland

very different from what I am used to listening to and only one utterly crap song on it so far

Plastic Beach is fully ripping my balls out however. Awesome album.

I heard one song from the Elect The Dead Symphony and was disappointed. All orchestra, no guitars, and Serj sounded more like Kermit the frog than ever. Rumours of Scars On Broadway getting back together ftw!

glad that you picked it up such an incredible album and the flow from one track to the next with that emotion that's what makes that band so amazing!

I am enjoying it so far after a couple of listens, and yeah the flow between songs was one thing I picked up on right away. Is great.

Yeah that is the Brucey film, haven't watched it yet. Grabbed it from Amazon.co.uk while doing a big order. Quite cheap they are.

because of JB's Buy 2 Get 1 Free TV series DVD sale, have wasted my money on a few things

the complete Deadwood series (1 to 3, all they made unfortunately)

and Rome series 1 & 2 (got Carnivale season 2 with it but for my brother)

I got season 1 of Rome when I was on holidays, the wife got Big Bang Theory seasons 1&2 from that same deal, I didn't realise i could get a season 2 of Rome, will have to look out for it

Picked up the new Soilwork from a preorder deal this week. Easily the heaviest thing they have done in a LONG time, sounds heavily Darkane influenced. I like from first listen.
