The Substational More Awesome Belated Birthday Thread

The whole idea of birthday threads is kinda stupid to begin with. Why do people need someone on the Internet to remember their birthdays? That's what your family & irl friends are for.

Yeah, Facebook is a much more appropriate place for birthday wishes, being that the whole idea of it is to keep in touch with people and all that nonsense. This place is a discussion forum.

Substational!

@false me: you realize there's a built in spell-checker, right?
Add me to the list because I'm probably not gonna get one.

Also, I'm planning my party and I need a good (bad) sci-fi or fantasy movie (MST3K fodder) that's relatively recent (last 15 years). Recs?
Current watchlist is:
Sword Of The Valient
Wanted
Hawk: The Slayer
We need 1 more.

The tradition between me and my close friends is that we don't do large birthday parties, just a couple close friends. We pick a couple awesome bad movies and watch them together, eat pizza, and have fun. It's actually pretty awesome and more fun that having a bunch of people I don't really know in my house.

Past movies we've watched:
Dungeons And Dragons
The Cave Dwellers
Flash Gordon
Kull The Conqueror
Conan The Destroyer
Conan The Barbarian
In The Name Of The King

It was amazing. Statham is a farmer who randomly is British even though everyone else is American including his father and they all live in a fantasy kingdom taken from the Dungeon Siege games, only there was no reason to license that because they don't use characters from the game or really stick to the plot and tbh they don't stick to the world, either. The main villain spends most of his time laughing villainously and doing vaguely villainous things, the bad guys are cheap orcs that don't wear pants, there are gay elves, and the army is maybe 20-30 guys.

It was fucking awesome.
