The Top 5 List Thread

Top 5 best runs of albums:
  1. Saint Vitus - Saint Vitus to Die Healing
  2. Running Wild - Under Jolly Roger to The Rivalry
  3. Darkthrone - Soulside Journey to Panzerfaust
  4. The Cure - Three Imaginary Boys to Wish (absolutely incredible run of albums)
  5. Trouble - Psalm 9 to Trouble
Edited for clarification

Huh, I've never met anybody who rates the Daniel Craig era so highly. I really should see those films again, I saw them at the cinema but didn't buy them unfortunately.

Top 5 James Bond films:

1. Skyfall
2. Casino Royale (2006)
3. On Her Majesty's Secret Service
4. The Living Daylights
5. Goldeneye

Damn, i need to refresh my memory. The two Daniel Craig ones i've seen are easily among my favorites. And the Pierce Brosnan films haven't held up well imo.

1 - Goldfinger
2 - From Russia With Love
3 - Casino Royale
4 - Thunderball
5 - Quantum of Solace

Top 5 sleaziest valid professions.

1. Marketers/Salesman (my god I hate being told what I should buy. Obnoxious methods!)
2. Politicians/Lobbyists (lies/corruption)
3. Lawyers (promote a culture of fear in overly litigious societies. Loopholes that circumvent intent of the law)
4. Statisticians (often "accurately" misrepresenting truth)
5. Bankers (obviously not pointed at the basic act of credit and savings, but the extracurriculars)

You can thank lawyers and politicians for that. In the 90s they made a requirement that doctors not treat pain simply as a symptom, but as something that needs to be cured, therefore allowing patients to sue doctors that refuse to push pills.

Daniel Craig is the best Bond to me, and Timothy Dalton and George Lazenby are underrated Bonds. Dalton's portrayal was ahead of his time and Craig's style took some inspiration from him I think. If you haven't seen The Living Daylights and Licence to Kill, do so. The Living Daylights has one of the best fights in the Bond series imo, and John Barry's score for the film is great too.

Never watched The Living Daylight and haven't seen Licensed to Kill in years(i think i might have it on Blu-Ray though). :(

Gotta get in on this Bond action:

1. License to Kill
2. Dr. No
3. Live and Let Die
4. GoldenEye
5. Goldfinger

License to Kill is severely underrated. Its a grittier, more violent, slightly more down to Earth Bond with one of the best villains in Robert Davi. A bad motherfucker if there ever was one.
