It depends actually. It can be easy to sway them one way, but with the cultural settings made by democracy, the people will more often than not sway back. This sounds like the reverse of Marx's class conflict theory.

If by worst you mean more people suffering, then that's kind of stupid, tbh.

A constitutionally limited elected government is the one least able to become tyrannical. It took close to two centuries for the American system to dispense with following Constitutional limits.

I really hate people who have some kind of dream of a completely globalised, grey, shitty society were everything that ever happens is because of profit, but according to their retarded beliefs, everyone is free, despite the fact that in the process of creating that society, the power of the people had to be hugely worn away at, because they were to 'racist', 'xenophobic', 'traditional' or whatever other insult they choose.


I actually like the idea of having the military power vested in the population, and their personal weapons. It basically fucks over the people I described above.
