The mods have itchy trigger fingers around here, to be quite honest. Deleting a thread about a Nile tour in the UK? Mikael, and quite a few folks here are Nile fans. (And Necrophagist is going to make quite a few "Best of 2004" lists, a topic that gets started without opposition quite frequently around here.) Thread deletion should be reserved for the truly off-topic, or the truly offensive.

While this forum possesses superior stupidity, well, second to the CoB forums it is still amusing.
Moonlapse isn't a bad mod, I don't agree with some of the shit he's done (deleting some interesting threads) but there are worse. Go to the Symphony X forums for example, that's the best example of a shitty forum. Good people there ... ridiculously stupid mod.
But, it's starting to spread throughout UM ... not allowing insults or interesting off-topic threads. :Smug:
