I was more referring to the west that the south (or should I say, the south west as opposed to the north west, god knows what they speak up there... prolly 'reindeer' 
) Sussane, but yes, I can see what you're getting at. I can speak for Vassa a lil more specifically however, it is a predominantly Swedish speaking region last I checked.
@Erik: Actually, most of the people I was referring to weren't met 'on my travels' in the sense that I met them while they were travelling. I guess I was more asking to see if the limited input I had on this topic was accurate. Obiovusly it wasn't. I wasn't calling you a sissy or anything. Now we've dispelled the illusion that ALL Europeans are well travelled, or otherwise just, 'wordly'.
