All I am saying is that Sabbath are a bit Negro...thats all !! ......a little bit Bluesy........ a bit twelve bar, which coming from the time they did ( the early 70s) isnt so strange after all. You can easily here the American deep south in Iommis playing style. Obviously he has been influenced by those old Blues boys like "Washboard Sam" and maybe "Blind Willy" ?... who both toured incidently in Britain in the late 60s, "exactly the same time" as Mr Iommi would have been learning to play the guitar. My second argument is this....... Where are Sabbath from ? Yes ! youve guessed it "The Black Country" the nickname of Englands city of Birmingham. And may I also point out the obvious here ...the word....."Black" ...as in "Black Sabbath". Look if some of you guys cant handle the Negroness of Sabbath then thats a bit sad.... I aint saying geezer, Bill, ozzy and Toni are ( Black )... but cmon, they aint that white either.

Black Sabbath were considered back then as Heavy Rock , Downer Rock & Hard Rock b/c at that time (early 70's) , the name Heavy Metal didn't exist at all until several years after. But obviously Black Sabbath are the pioneers , the inventors , the creators of HEAVY METAL.
