US Bands You Should Hear

Thanks BassGoddess

Actually only recently did I dig into them. There's so much good music besides metal. I suppose you like Porcupine Tree also?

And credits go to your research :)

I like one Ozric Tentacles song I heard, but the others I heard I didn't like. Maybe I'll look into them more sometime. I heard Imagika a couple years ago. The music was cool, but I didn't like the Satanic lyrics. At least, that's what I remember, feel free to correct me. If you aren't doing the Satanic lyric stuff, then I'll check you out again.

Hey there...the lyrics of Imagika are not satanic - promise. None of us is into that...My singer writes about a huge array of topics, and yes...some are about the darker "issues" of life...war, personal struggles, etc. Oftentimes, he writes lyrics based off of his favourite movies or a book he happens to be reading at that moment. If you are interested in checking us out again, the website is www.imagikametal.com
Cheers!
Elena - Imagika

Yes, I highly recommend Porcupine Tree. Steven Wilson is a genius. You can't go wrong with any of their albums although I am partial to Lightbulb Sun and Signify.

I am also getting into Ozric Tentacles now. I really like Erpland and Strangeitude. I'd love to see them live.

but, they music is more like in vein of dark tranquility style on thier riffs........more to swedish death metal......

no excommunion is very dark brutal death metal. no swedish shit whatsoever. more like immolation, incantation, morbid angel, disembowelment too.

serberus is more swedish styled. i wouldn't say we are brutal death metal. more melodic death with some blackened parts.
