Man, I'm braindead...there's so many I can't think of, I'll have to go back and add to the list later.

Yeah man, Death Angel! I forgot about that band. I remember when I saw thier video on the Headbangers Ball, for the song "Bored", I was blown away. Aside from Iron Maiden videos, I watched the "Ball" every Saturday to see that video (of course they hardly ever showed it again)

Yeah right Dustin...I'll believe it when I see it  Nah, it's all cool. Actually I'd prefer that you start filling in details before you continue on with the bands. I'm on N currently, but I'm going backwards.

Here's my list of up-and-coming US bands that rule. I probably already mentioned some but I'm too lazy to go back and see what I said. So, here's the cream of the crap, or at least some great ones that are still kind of early in their careers:

Actual Time
Antithesis
Archetype
Corum
Gracepoint
Into Eternity (really Canadian, but it's like the 51st state, so we'll count 'em)
Katagory V
Prototype
Zero Hour

Shit, I'm forgetting some, but those are all great.

I checked out Actual Time and Gracepoint on MP3.com, good stuff, thanks man!

I didn't have time to read through the last half of the hundred or so posts here, but has anyone mentioned EXHIBITION from New Jersey?

They were just recently signed to LMP records (Rhapsody, Lana Lane, Mob Rules, etc.), and deservedly so. The lead singer is none other than Bobby Lucas (Morbid Sin, Overlorde, Seven Witches), the new Voice of Metal!

Take care and STAY TRUE!!!

NP- ...nothing, I'm at work... *sigh* ...but I have had some Evergrey songs going through my head all night if that counts.

Hey deathfalls, I'm from Louisiana too. One of the coolest La bands I've heard in a while was Agents of Oblivion, but of course now they are broken up. I heard Dax was forming a band a while back called Elephant Boy or sumpin'. Haven't heard from them in a couple of years, but that Agents of Oblivion was fuckin' awesome. Not really that metal-ish, but still kicked ass. I have alot of family in Baton Rouge and NOLA, but lived alot in Ruston in the northern part.

I was wondering does anyone like any USBM? Like Krieg, Judas Iscariot, Anwyl, Usurper, Absu, Benighted, Arise, Black Witchery, Von, Bloodstorm, Gbk, The Forgotten, Wind of the Black Mountains, Open Grave, etc etc?

I just wanted to see if there's any Black Metalheads out there. :p
