i kind of agree almost but if you think "filosofem" is "ruined" you must have little fragile stupid baby ears
the sound on filosofem is no more "ruined" than every modern album with mesa dual rectifiers twiddled to hell and quad-tracked and stupid triggered drums and L2 ULTRAMAXIMIZER so fuck you. it's one thing to "ruin" something or make it sound "bad" on purpose but i don't see that happening on filosofem. i see someone who knew what he wanted to make it sound like and made it sound like that by employing certain recording techniques (distortion pedal through an old hi-fi amp, as it were.)
