i know he's not running anymore, unfortunately. and i know as well that there are many economists that have been predicting this sort of thing to happen to the economy, there just weren't many of them actually running for president. despite that, he's still an intelligent honest person and has good insight on a few things that have been mentioned in this discussion.
right on dude, sorry if that came across a bit snippy, it wasnt intended to be. its just that as much as i paid attention to ron paul early on im kind of over him, hes like the right leaning dennis kusinich. shure they both make sense on paper, talk a language that i can understand, and have the most common sense lamens solution to 9 out of 10 problems but the reality of their pie in the sky ideals is that they would not work in the reality of post 1980 partisan politics. Dont get me wrong i would love for these kinds of public servants to matter, its just my opinion that in order for a politician to get anything good done you have the right balance of good ideas, moral reasoning, and the ability to be an underhanded backroom bullshiter. Maybe its to Ron Pauls credit that hes much to good a person to have made it out of the primarys....... rant over, im on cold medicine, cut me some slack
