Vilewoman's off-topic random retardation thread.

When I have alcohol somewhere, I just can't not drink it. Weither I'm alone or not, working or "chilling", I just can't resist the call.
White man's burden my friends... white man's burden....

Drunk man's burden my friend, drunk mans ;)

BTW! Where's that second batch of pics from your dig last summer you promised?

I'm trying to locate some "German / Bavarian | ohmpa-ohmpa | Tyroler" music.

Brass band playing the typical Oktoberfest stuff.

Any ideas on what to look for?

I'd like a CD or something that I can purchase and play in a regular stereo, you don't want to know why.

If nothing else, and band names or song titles I can look for?

:ill::ill: I think those beers you won at auction were tainted:ill::ill::ill:

First thing that comes to mind is the tacky turoid shops, they may be able to help:

That "sound of da Hofbrauhaus" CD may do, don't know if it is brass band or drinking songs.

Or maybe dat

Or don't just stop at getting the music, you can even rent your own German if you are of that persuasion :p

Oh I found a band in Sweden also, but we're not that serious, we just need a CD for one night :p

Then maybe iTunes and other online legal downloading sites are your friend. If it is for background music, most people will not realise it is only 4/5 tracks you downloaded, and at 99 cents per track, it is your cheapest option.

When I worked in Eurodisney our background music was themed according to shop. Ours, being Main St. Usa and being a circus-style shop, was turn of the century circus/fairground music. You know, big on the brass and sousaphone stuff.

Only 4 tracks, repeated from 6 AM until 1 AM... 1 hour after the last customer had left. After 30 minutes it was a form of torture, still sounds inside my head o_O

But customers never spent long enough or were aware enough that it was only 4 tracks and were all quite similar to the previous one.

english essays sucks!

I love writing essays. I never run out things to say :heh:
I wrote one that got published in somethingie in D.C. years back. It was about Native Americans, and how we have lost so much of their languages and cultures due to colonization, war and my favorite target of bitch...Christianity.
