Vote!

What I said in the SOT thread:

This totally sucks, but it confirms that I'm right when I claim that about 50% of the American population sucks. Granted, a lot of people didn't even vote, but you get my drift. Do people actually believe that Bush will end terrorism, and make the US safer? He's recruited thousands of potential terrorists during his four year period. The stupidity of the American voting majority scares me :erk:

Yes. Yes they do. The best way to combat terrorism is to go after the region of the world they came from, start a few wars, piss them all off, and get them to gain allies. Then, terrorism becomes a governmental force, one in which we can bomb them and their women and children from, in order to conquer and rebuild them by dumping gov't money into the administration's businesses so the job gets done AND they get paid. Don't you know that a pissed off and heavily supported terrorist is a SCARED terrorist?

At least that's the War on Terror best I can tell. Had a dream I was a Columbian drug lord last night, it was pretty cool. Especially that hot chick I had.

I'm appalled but not surprised by the stupidity of our people and disgusted by voter apathy (to everyone in my demographic who stayed away from the polls...fuck you)...when our standards of education and political awareness are at historic lows, not to mention indoctrinated to put our security in the hands of Bush, it would be foolish to believe that we could suddenly become a nation of informed voters. Only on ignorance can someone who led us into an unwanted and futile war and failed to create a single job be rewarded with a second term.

We should have let the south secede. And if nature was on our side, she would have submerged Florida underneath eighty feet of swamp water.

CNN still says 254 to 252 with Bush ahead, 99% precincts reporting, and Iowa, Ohio, and New Mexico not called yet.

*cross fingers*

Just got an email saying someone voted for me instead of Bush or Kerry.

This shall motivate me. It's time for a radical change.

North Ohio is near Chicago, Illinois. Well civilized etc.

South Ohio is near Kentucky. Bible belt, "Deliverance" country.

You do the math.

America is a red neck country and it's going (gone) down the tubes. It's not even the electoral vote, he won the popular vote by 3 million or whatever. What does that tell you about *most* Americans? Just a bunch of sad, fat, insecure bastards really.

Seriously, I would feel the same way about the UK is Blair wins again, but I honestly believe his days are numbered because I have more faith in Brittania. But who knows.

Now sit back and watch more planes fly into buildings.

 I'm sorry you have such feelings about it.

What would be nice if an actual Bush supporter took the time to tell me how I'm going to benefit for the next 4 years now, bearing in mind that I oppose the war, I'm not a right-wing christian, and I'm likely going to lose my job through a shitty economy.

So let's face it, the anti-war brigade (aka rest of world) will be quite unsympathetic to America if terrorists continue to attack the USA. Wait for all those opposed to say "I told you so!". Hence the path towards world war!!! Amazingly, people will eventually start supporting the underdog -- I'm sure there are more and more Iraqi sympathizers gathering by the day, and they're not all Islamic fundamentalists. You just never know what's going on out there with 'indirect' support.

All I can say is this: the consequences of Iraq will get much much worse. Just mark my words. And season 3 of "24" better be a friggin' good one!!

But then of course, if I supported the war so vehemently, I would put my money where my mouth is. There would be nothing stopping me from volunteering for the reserves, as opposed to watching the war on TV in my glorious underpants. :loco:

Don't you mean Season 4? :loco:

The next four years we will see many countries not only turn against us, but attack. I'm going to spend as little time as possible in big cities until 2008.

Oh yeah, season 3 was forgettable as fuck.

Shit yeah, like I say, watch those planes come down, trains derailed, bridges blown up, suicide bombing, etc. I don't see why that crap can't happen anywhere where radicals reside. You've seen NY. :loco:

Says the guy who didn't finish watching it! It ruled at the end. Well, it didn't suck anyhow. :Spin:

Haha, what's funny (in the ironic sense) is that when the next major terrorist attack happens, all the people that voted for Duh-bya solely to defend against terrorism are going to turn on him. I'm guessing in 2 to 3 years his approval rating will be record low and nearly the entire country will be glad to be rid of him.

There's no way Bush would have won over here. What's shocked me is just how religious Americans are, and the fact that "moral values" have been cited as the main reason for him winning. I honestly thought Kerry would win, because I thought even the average American would see how immoral the war on Iraq was, but apparently not as bad as allowing same-sex marriages and step cell research and all those other Christian "moral values". You get the feeling Bush et al. could get away with anything as long as they continue to pander to the bible bashers. I obviously had far too much faith in the American public.

They would never get away with it over here. As for Blair I'm not too sure, because it's not like he's even in the same league as Bush when it comes to being a moron, so the average Brit doesn't have as much reason to vote him out.

Blair's biggest failing, as far as I can see, is the way he followed Bush into war. If people vote him out because of that then the US loses one MAJOR alliance. Unless of course you count 20 Australians and 3 drunks from Poland as "vital allies".

YOu know what this is? You've all seen the movie where the school bully gets his comeuppance. Everyone in the yard stands up for themselves and turns on him, and they give him a big fat wedgie.

That's what America needs right now, a big wedgie.
