You are one emo whiney bitch. GTFO.
I hope that comment isn't directed at me.
Lets see how much Emo is in my collection.
Metallica, Tool, In Flames, Slayer, Sepultura, Satriani , Dream Theater, Motorhead, Danzig , Sabbath, Zepplin, GNR, All that Remains,Beyond the Embrace, Shadows Fall , No one, M.S.I. , Megadeth ACDC, Pantera, NIN, Diamondhead, Grave, Unearth, Pigface,
List goes on for days but there is no Emo in my collection.
Since I saw what you posted
I was not meaning to offend anyone.
All I am saying is that everyone is entitled to their opinion but this IS an InFlames fan site Correct? And there is a thread on here "Opinions of Come Clarity" right?
You can't disagree with me about the availablilty of the album prior to purchase. It was availabe 6 months prior to release. The band did post the entire album on its media player. And most music stores have listening stations. So I can't see how someone would blindly buy an album then bitch its not good. Especially since most of you that don't like the new album didn't care much for R2R and STYE.
Besides I concieted that it was unfair to say that someone must be better than In Flames to criticize their music. As I said people change or they stay the same while others change. Take Slayer for example their albums for the most part are very similar. No major changes album to album.
While "Show No Mercy Haunting the Chapel and Reign in blood were so bad ass I but several tapes before buying them a third or fourth time on cd.
Now Divine Intervention and diablus in Musica may have been just as good and may have not been all that diffferent , by that time I had changed and Slayer no longer fullfilled my need. Not that I respected them any less but the albums just don't speak to me the same way.
In exactly the opposite way sometime the band grows and changes. In Flames definitly fits this for some fans because I know some are used to the old straight forward death metal that defined In Flames in the 90's Maybe your stuck in that old mentality and don't want to let them grow so to speak.
Thats what I meant in my earlier post that maybe you've outgrown them or they've outgrown you.
Either way is fine. I'm not here to tell anyone what to like. That they can't perfer the old stuff vs new stuff or whatever. It just becomes a pain in the ass to be at a so called fan site and having people shit can the band.
If you like it all celebrate it all, If your a newbie and you only like the last 3 albums the celebrate the last 3 albums and if you only like the old stuff then celebrate the old stuff there is no reason for so called fans of this band to spend hours on the computer shit canning the band they supposedly like with things like the album would have been better if... Why couldn't the new album sound like this... blahh blahh blahh.
Jesus .. Can't we all just get along??
Oh and thanks to you who have helped me widen my collection. I have purchased 7 new albums in the last week. Dimension Zero Silent Night Fever
Dark Tranquility Damage Done, Arsis Celebration in Guilt, Daylight Dies
Dark Tranquility Gallery , Dimension Zero This is Hell.
Thanks to everyone including Devy Metal ,who pointed out Arsis, who got the blunt of my rant because I used his quote to start my post. Sorry
And Rivfader Maybe I'll see in the pit at the Pagaent or Pops , or Mississppi Nights, or fucking UMB if Saint Louis ever decides to host metal shows again.
