welp, that's the word that was on this box containing the ones i tried around Christmastime. my ex is American born, but of Greek ancestory. he travels to Greece quite often and i sometimes still receive "gifts" from him. :yow:

geez, i suppose i should have written down the rest of the info that was on the box. there was a Greek family name and location in Greece where they were created. i'll try to find out exactly what brand they were in case you want to send me some.

loukoumades RULE! :)

hehe sure.. but they'd better be good.. me plzed, then u plzed.. :)
I just like the ones on sugar anyway, I don't like honey..

When you eat anything and everything of the sugared variety (Oh and chocolate), it's very hard to have a favourite, 'cos it's all good! So I'm only gonna put one item on this post, it's either that or I fill up a page!

Anyways here goes: .........Ummmmmmm ................Hmmmmmmm ...............Errrrr

GUMMY BEARS!

:D

dislike honey? it's healthier for you than refined sugar. loukoumades are tasty candies but then so are your pastries. baklavá and galaktoboúriko, yum!! i'll take a slice of one of those before any of that French fluff  galaktoboúriko is sinfully delicious.

Purdy's milk chocolate creams are the chocolate equivalent of the nectar of the gods. Unrivaled are they in their greatness.

On a more universal level, Hershey's Tastations (Butterscotch), and Nestle After Eights are current favourites of mine, but my current longest-running addiction I fear will be lifetime. Namely, Original Fruit flavoured Certs. Are they a candy, or a mint? Who cares! (Orange tic tacs fall into this category as well. These are supposed to freshen your breath?)

Ha! Orange Tic Tacs must be included. Simply so I can point out that my record for Tic Tac Munching is 5 boxes of Orange Tic Tacs in me mouth, all at the same time! I ate all of 'em too. (didn't feel to good for the rest of the night though..... wonder why? )

Orange Tic Tacs - the non-mint mint.

Could be ëïõêïýìéá (loukoumia).. The sugar and stuff reminds me of that.. And I should know something since my grandparents had a well-known factory producing these things..

yeah it could be.. maybe u r right.. I just don't like loukoumia so loukoumades was the first thing to come in my mind..
galaktompouriko rox :)

Aside from this Norwegian camp (!) my dad made me go to in Minnesota, the only place I've seen them is at the gift shop at the Empire State Building. When I was there this summer, I bought them out entirely. And my friend tried to get me some for Xmas but they don't carry them anymore!!! :( I don't suppose any of you Norskies would like to send me some?

WHAT?! You're talking about Toffefee? They suck! Hehe...
Well, they work really well when I'm noosing around in
the kitchen for something good to chew on, but they or
no way near my fav's! >:o) So, you can have mine!
It could be a late new years gift, just post you addie right
here on the board, where everyone can see it, and I'll
send it to ya! Hehehe.... >:o)

Well, I love the following -->

Bamsemoms, it's little bears with a soft inside and
chocolate on the outside. It's just yummeeee! >:o)

And Non-stop, probably almost like M&M's....

Then any candy with a fruity taste... Whoooooh!
