It seems there hasn't been one of these threads in a bit. For me:

Orphaned Land - Mabool
Evergrey - The Inner Circle
Into Eternity - Buried in Oblivion
Tad Morose - Modus Vivendi
Aina - Days of Rising Doom

Zod

Lately, I've been into black metal. Lots of Drudkh, Nachtfalke, Morrigan, Iuvenes, Graveland, some Nokturnal Mortum.

ALso been playing these a lot:

Mindrot - Dawning
Fear Factory - Digimortal
Eyes of Fire - Ashes to Embers
Kiss It Goodbye - She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not

Funny you should ask because the RC crew is updating their playlists on the "About Me" section as we speak. Here, I'll give you a sneak preview of mine:

Anathema "Alternative 4"
Arckanum "Kampen"
Bathory "Hammerheart"
Drudkh "Autumn Aurora"
Nokturnal Mortum "NeChrist"

uh oh, J. is becoming true!!!

as for me... i never let one or a few CDs dominate my listening. i alwyas try to choose something to listen to that i haven't heard in a while. in fact, i would say that i don't listen to any one cd more than once or twice a month.

I'm the same. I have to whip up something for RC though so it's usually the stuff that I've listened to two times or more recently... Usually fairly recently purchased stuff too.

Current Playlist:
1. HAMMERS OF MISFORTUNE - The August Engine (I can't get enough of this!!!)
2. KYUSS - Welcome to Sky Valley
3. THE GREAT DECEIVER - Terra Incognito
4. FRANK ZAPPA - You Are What You Is
5. ULVER - Svidd Neger soundtrack

And some Johnny Cash, Tool, and Hate Eternal.

Anathema - Eternity
Rakoth - Jabberworks
Ulver - Teachings In Silence
Belenos - L'ancien Temps
Belenos - Spicilege
Belenos - Errances Oniriques

Belenos rules , check out Spicilege if you like Primordial , not a copycat but similar by some points

I have actually been reading about Belenos lately. They look/sound very promising. I saw a link to their site through the Nydvind site (www.nydvind.com), another awesome French Heathen band.

Most of their work consist in demos compilated which is quite amazing because they still rule (Spicilege is only reworked demos) . If you like anything from them you'll like all .

Well, aside from my usual smattering of live recordings...

Into Eternity - Buried In Oblivion
Dismember - Where Ironcrosses Grow
Edguy - The Hellfire Club
Overkill - Feel The Fire
Satyricon - Nemesis Divina
Ratt - Ratt n' Roll 8191

Xasthur- Funeral of Being
Drudkh- Forgotten Legends (still havent got the new one dammit)
Pig Destroyer- Painter of Dead Girls
Darkthrone- Total Death

Blut Aus Nord - The Work Which Transforms God
Cryptopsy - Whisper Supremacy
Into Eternity - Buried In Oblivion
Windir - 1184
Ulver - Bergtatt
Taake - Nattestid Ser Porten Vid
