Oh, and since the GENIUS Hayao Miyazaki was mentioned I thought I'd just add that Princess Mononoke is my all-time fave from him. I also own Laputa, Spirited Away & the most recent Howling's Moving Castle - all brilliant.
Have you guys seen or heard of Nausicaa: Valley of the Wind? That's next on my list to get and haven't seen it yet. Looks damn good, as is to be expected.
well yeah. I thought power metal and gothenburg bands were enough sucky in festivals, and now emo is coming. awesome

I really wonder if I'm gonna go to Wacken Open Air next year again ... and the most true, grim and nekro festival in Europe? Are you kidding? That's definitely NOT Wacken... at least not anymore... everyone goes to Wacken now... the line-up changed a lot and now you can watch special wacken-shows on TV ... really true grim, huh? ... Guess the trueness moved to somewhere else... I heard rumours of Party.San, Inferno & Hole In The Sky to be the new hosts of trueness, grimness 'n stuff
Whateva... I don't care...Me also owns "Hauro No Ugoku Shiro" [moving castle thingie]... that's my fave! I'm also trying to get my hands on Nausicaa... and if you haven't checked out "Hotaru No Haka" [ehr... Grave of the fireflies or something]... do it... it's "only" produced by Miyazaki and not written but... it's amazingly sad

I myself have nothing against an emo band performing in a metal festival...I mean they come, perform and get booed of the stage or perform for an empty lot and no harm done...the problem is where there are emo bands, there are miserable suicidal emos who'll ruin this festival forever.

this sounds grim(not gr1m)
but I'm sure there are still a lot of good bands performing at Wacken even if it has become somewhat softer or less tr00.I still think an emo band has nothing to do in Wacken and if BfMV appears in 07, then in 08 they will be joined by my chemical romance and some other emo band and before you know it...real metal acts wouldn't want to be booked for Wacken

I think howling's was an older movie just released around our neck of the woods. Princess is def his best.

I was into emo in 2001...I know exactly what emo is
plus I heard a few songs from the black parade and it sounded pretty emo to me...
but I guess it's your right to like it...I think it's shit, pure and simple

there's emotional and there's emo...
though derived from the word emotional...emo has specific charecteristics that define it as emo
anyway I heard some of the songs there and I didn't like it
