What will be the next big thing in metal?

Yep, wanted to tune down for a long time, but I only had to guitars, one that I used for teaching and
my school band, so it had to stay in E and one for my older stuff that was in D, now I stopped teaching
and the school band, but I don't have the needs to tune that low, not sure why, one of my guitars is
tuned to D and the other to Dropped D or E atm, bass to D all the time.

ok, nice post dude. i had a nice reply typed out but fuck it.
lemme just say that to my ears, B already sounds boring as fuck. i'd wish that more bands played in the eb-db range.
why? well, just try and write a generic metal song in B, and D. the way the tuning inspires the riffing is definitely amazing. try it out.

You can do that with any tuning, just like how drop tuning inspire cheap metalcore/nü metal riffs
