Threads like this really make me miss LPs. One of the coolest things about LPs was getting to take in the album cover while listening. Especially the double albums. Those kicked ass. Remember Physical Graffiti? You just can't do that stuff with CDs. You need a magnifying glass to get the same details out of the CD covers. Just not the same. Showing my age I guess.

Cool that some bands put forth the effort though.

God do I HATE that album cover.....
I mean they are taking the humor aspect of the band way too far.
I mean, Helloween reserved some of the cartoonish antics for t-shirts and singles, but NOT for proper full-length releases.

I disagree Jasonic......one of the joys of Edguy is the humor and even though they tend to push it over the edge at times, I wouldn't want it any other way! The music still kills!!!

The rough draft for the new Symphony X album cover is looking amazing. Probably the best album art in the history of album art so far, imo.
