wheres th IN FLAMES board???

hi guys I was trying to get on the IF board and I cant find it!
on the official site theres no info about it,the link is deleted and on UM it has dissapeared.
does someone knows where and when it will be back(on another forum perhaps)?
I know that this is the DT board but most people here also like in flames(like me)...

i had no idea the in flames board was to go.
surely the guys in in flames could spare the monthly fee starting from november... i'm afraid this is going to be a hard loss for ultimatemetal.

From what i can understand ... fredrik has deleted the guestbook also in inflames.com ... so ... it seems this is permanent ??? i'm very pissed of right now ! they dont want to hear us fans ? !!!

maybe the latter fact you mentioned just means he's redoing an official board on the in flames site from scratch...
then again, i guess he could have told somebody what was happening before this. :s

The forum leaving has nothing to do with the new fee. They just decided to remove their community section. *shrug*

In Flames will not have a new forum. Neither will there be a guest book. My guess is that the band got tired of the abuse they were getting for R2R, and rather than have to take it on their official forum/guest book, they simply removed this possibility.

if in flames really removed all their boards to avoid facing criticism, there is little any former or current fan can do but laugh in their face for all they're worth. the fact that they didn't even warn their fanbase is a bit disgusting too.

i can almost rule out the chance of this ever happening here. as long as i have my tiny say in it, ppl will know all there is to know before it happens, unless it's a surprise party.

once i thought in flames were a good band with a nice attitude.

Another valid theory would be the masses of R2R leak threads back in the day. Perhaps they're frustrated that their official forum was used as a concentrated means to spread and publicise the mp3's, and closed it down so that wouldn't happen again for their next release?

I don"t think... If this was the case, just choose 2 or 3 moderator to delete abusive thread will be a solution.... 'I think' And I don't think that In Flames members are against mp3... Because all fans buy their own cds (maybe....)

The Reroute to Remain threads pretty much died down, with the exception of one thread.. on which the majority of the people on the board were supporting the album, so I don't think that was the issue.
Hmmm... maybe they got upset because people were pretending to be band members? Mattias of the Night was claiming that he is Bjorn. But it was all a joke and everyone knew it.
Imo, the board was at a much better state than it was a few months ago. Seems like an odd time for a tempertantrum.
