Which year did you start listening to Peth?

I went out and bought the cd and was completely blown away, but I was expecting some metal on the disc also.
So then I bought Deliverance and was officially hooked.

I think it was 2003, my memory is failing me.... I had a friend who raved about Damnation so I went to my local Borders to pick it up and give 'em a try. They didn't have it, but they did have Still Life. Still my favorite Opeth album.

In like March or something I heard Damnation. I was really into the ballads more than the songs with growls. Then I heard watershed and I started appreciating them and plus Dream Theater is my favorite band and a lot of people in the forum got me into opeth.

Around 2001, my stepdad had Morningrise and Blackwater Park, I heard Advent first and I fucking loved it then I listened to The Leper Affinity and was officially hooked.
