Who do we think we are?

^same.

Unknown Hinson is definitely worth listening to also. It's the dude who voices Earl in Squidbillies. Obviously the comedic aspect is strong, but fuck, isn't that why everyone loves Primus?

Honestly, Hank Jr. is my favorite of the three generations... but Sr. made some absolutely awesome music as well.

Idn't this place a geographical oddity! Two weeks from everywhere!.....I'll take a dozen hair nets

God I love that movie. The Coen Brothers really have a knack for dialogue. There are some bits in No Country (while yes McCarthy technically wrote the dialogue) that kill me

There is a guy here that does Hank Jr. - Family Tradition at karaoke, drunk as fuck in the same monotone voice. Literally sings it entirely in one note. It's hilarious and awesome, and oddly enough is what got me into Hank Jr. in the first place.

Goddamn characters at the bar.

i wish i liked that movie more, it's prob my least favourite coens aside from the two that nobody cares about. then again that's not much of an insult as i'm a total fanboy.

Think my least favorite that everyone else digs was Raising Arizona. Just didn't impress or entertain me much.

it is the shit.

RAISING ARIZONA is painfully unfunny at times but has enough other pleasures to make up for that. actually, i never think i like it that much but it always sneaks up on me right at the end.

Re-watching Taxi Driver tonight, one of my most favourite films. 10/10.
Death Wish is another goodie in the same vein. I think the Death Wish brand has gotten an undeservedly negative reputation because of the sequels, The first one is more interesting because Charles Bronson starts out as a liberal and peaceful man whose worldview crumbles in a convincing way that might even change people's opinions on some things. The sequels become pretty pointless because there's just action left.

I saw that movie once like 6-7 years ago and wasn't impressed.

7 years ago I was a complete dumb ass with so many things. Get the point?

I'm a huge fan of Death Wish, all of them though the fifth film is quite throwaway.
