We still have a semi-decent shot to make it out of this round. It's technically possible to advance no matter who wins the Korea vs. Japan game. Hopefully Korea just wins another one to simplify the whole thing though.

Well, we're left with two scenarios (both of course mean nothing if we lose tomorrow). It all rides on Japan vs. Korea today.
We're in if:
1. Korea beats Japan.
or
2. Japan beats Korea and scores at least 7 runs while doing so.
The Asians play a lot of small-ball with a lot of bunting, stealing, sacrifices, etc to get a run or two across instead of trying to put a big inning together with a lot of hits, so #1 is a lot more likely; probably gonna be a low scoring game.
Korea's not that damn good, but somehow they're still undefeated in the tournament. Hopefully they keep it going today though so we're not left with option #2 (don't get me started on the freak fucking advancement structure again).
