I dunno. there are a few bands I wouldn't mind seeing at Ozzfest 2004 if they are going to be there this year. But if Ozzfest 2004 is going to go ahead after Ozzy's accident this is who I wouldn't mind seeing there:

Ozzy or Black Sabbeth
Sepultura
Mudvayne
Motorhead
40 Below Summer
Napalm Death
Chimaira
Ill Nino
Incubus
Offspring
and Nothingface

:p

Stupid question but does the bands who play at Ozzfest in America come to the Ozzfest in England?
Usually the European Ozzfest is different from the American one.

...I thought I heard a rumor going around about Judas Priest playing Ozzfest.

I don't really care who plays, they've skipped Cincinnati for the last 3 years. But I did get to see Cradle Of Filth and Shadows Fall play on their litttle side tour.

I agree too much nu-metal, just like all the shitty bands you listed. Napalm Death seems to be an odd choice in that list. That would be funny to see the Napalm destroy all those other bands, but also a total waste of money.

Uh heres a thought...How about just ozzy. Fuck all those other nu metal shitbands

Or turn ozzfest into class rock fest. That would be cool. Rush & The Scorpions. Shit like that \m/

haha

well my line up would look like this
Main Stage
Ozzy Osbourne
Iron Maiden
Judas Priest
Pantera
Slayer
Megadeth

Second Stage
Iced Earth
Opeth
Blind Guardian
Cradle fo Filth
Hammerfall
Dimmu Borgir
In Flames
Children of Bodom
Cannibal Corpse
Malevolent Creation
Amon Amarth

of course this in the twilight zone

actually this year there is supposed to be a lot less numetal (thank god)
Slayer, Judas Priest, and Dimmu Borgir are playing.
I think also hatebreed, which is actually hardcore is it not?
Oh yeah.... and slipknot, which is kind of nu-metal....but not really (that's just my opinion though)

Here's a few that deserve the chance:

Overkill
Iced Earth
Opeth
Moonspell
Avenged Sevenfold
Reunited Obituary!
Nevermore
Testament
Anthrax (Even though they whine about everything all of the time...)
Black Label Society (Play a FULL set this time, give Ozzy a rest this year so Zakk can play a full set!)
Damageplan
Tool
Evergrey
Samael
Slayer (But that's already happening!)
Iron Maiden would be a great headliner!
Kalmah
Lacuna Coil

That would be the ultimate Ozzfest for me!

ok here goes...

Main Stage
Black Sabbath, not ozzy, just Black Sabbath
ST. Vitus
Candlemass
Skepticism
My Dying Bride
Mayhem
Enslaved
Immolation

Second Stage
Ion Dissonance
The End
Dillinger Escape Plan
Mourning Beloveth
Darkthrone
Bathory
Carcass
Ildjarn
Thergothon(i wish)

Third Stage
Britney Spears
Nsync
Waco Jesus

a little something for everybody...

The Official Mainstage:

OZZY OSBOURNE
JUDAS PRIEST
SLAYER
DIMMU BORGIR
(not confirmed)
THE DARKNESS
SUPERJOINT RITUAL
BLACK LABEL SOCIETY

That seems pretty fucking good to me. The Darkness seem extremely out of place but I like them, so thats ok, and then there's Superjoint Ritual, who I dont like at all.

Anyway, if it was up to me:

Mainstage:
Black Sabbath
Iron Maiden
Judas Priest
Slayer
Opeth
Tool

Second Stage:
Iced Earth
Blind Guardian
Helloween
Darkthrone
Mayhem
Finntroll
Children of Bodom

And maybe something like Dream Theater, Rammstein, or QOTSA somewhere in there.
