Windir Appreciation Thread

I graduated high school in 2001, although i did not iron anything for that. Mother took care of many things for me in those days

Oh, Mommas boy? Well I live off my moms wealth, but I currently don't live with her. I live in my dorm, and I do my own laundry and all that good shit. BOY!!!

Valfar was a talented guy.I think Windir really captured what the spirit of Norway and Black Metal is all about.

Didn't he freeze to death? What a way to inadvertently solidify your own legend.

I haven't listened to all of their stuff, but I've really, really enjoyed what I have heard. I think I'll go find more now.

Yes he was on his way to visit his parent's by foot, and he got caught up in a blizzard and froze to death.Sounds like a legendary tale similar to his lyrics. It's really too bad, but he left us with 4 great albums of music.

I desperately need to check out the other Windir albums and Cor Scorpii, I've only heard Arntor which is brilliant.

The re-release of Cor Scorpii's debutalbum "Monument" is now finally availiable worldwide through our new label Dark Essence!
Featuring a remastered version of the "Attergangar" demo as bonusmaterial.

Check it out here:

/epic bump. Hey, someone posted a song that sounded VERY VERY Windir awhile back. If I recall it was yet another side project of the lead guitarist. It was not Vreid or Cor Scorpii. Anyone have any insight into this?
