That's the only problem in using video proof I can think of, to limit the use of it and to make sure that it won't be abused for every single foul, pushing, pulling or whatever, but only for situations that can decide a game. If there'd be a way to do that, I don't think it would interrupt the game so much that it would lose attraction. It works for hockey, so why not for football?

Sure, as I said... for important decisions like "was it a goal or not" they could use it, as long as it won't be used for every little foul or whatever, like you said aswell.

As for videoproof.. I'd say use it with unclear goals, hands and severe fouls where red cards would be given.
Maybe for offside.. Although I think that would be decided whether or not the referee's have glasses or not
