thats an incredible ulcer. i think there are more appropriate ways to treat diabetic ulcers though. maggots arent necessary. interesting treatment however. to answer your question: i think i'd be less comfortable with just having diabetes than having medically-applied maggots in my ulcer. diabates is a terrible disease.

i guess so, because they only eat the dead tissue. a knife easily cuts away to much or to little.

I definitely would, I've watched a couple of documentaries on them and they seem great. They only eat dead flesh, and they're nice and efficient

Edit: actually, I dunno - can you feel them squirming about and stuff? That might be weird.
