just come to think about something: wy ain't there any black guys around? as fare as I now, the only black guy in a metal band are the ones in p.o.d. and I dont think that is true metal.

bye the way, ain't it quite odd, that on this page there is white, latins, and asians, but I have never heard/seen someone black. is that just me, or are there no one around?

Indeed - I have noticed the same thing, although I believe Belial (Opeth board) is black. Derrick Green from Sepultura is another that comes to mind. I wouldn't be game to guess why this is so - anyone else have thoughts on this?

there are some. there is a band called epicidium from LA. they are a DM band, 2 black members. and what about living colour? nothing intense, but black.

they exist, its a different culture though.

While at Bloodstock I saw a black guy with Corpse paint on(very bad corpsepaint) and also he was wearing a Darkthrone top that said "True Aryan Black Metal"....

Many people laughed.

Also at the Bonded By Metal the other day I saw a black kid(17 or 18) with dreadlocks and a Burzum top. Is it just me or isn't Burzum a Nationalist Socialist???

To be quite honest I find it strange that I see black people wearing such things, it seems like a bit of a contradiction and just a wee bit stupid.

Same - I find it awesome that a black guy was wearing a Burzum shirt, in the same way that white people are now populating the Rap and R&B scenes.

EDIT: come to think of it, black people wearing corpsepaint makes more sense than white people wearing it. If you're already white, why would you want to paint yourself white?
