I just hate how they market the XBOX using Halo and only Halo. Oblivion is better on the PC IMO. As is Halo actually.

Microsoft saw how good the wii is going to be, so they boosted the one single thing that makes the xbox cool...... Halo. Thats a short-term fix though imo.

D'ya know, if u put all nintendo-microsoft rivalries aside, you can get both a wii and a 360 for less that what you'd pay for a ps3???

im hearing alot that the 360 isnt that good.. but i want it for 3 games really.. oblivion (which Id thought about for PC except Id need a new videocard first), condemned, and deadrising. i figure in the end its probably a better deal to get the 360 and have all the games that Im after for it..

Granted they'll look stupid, the whole idea of the interactive gameplay all the time is a novel one, and a great one if you ask me. And the fact you can download any of the previous Nintendo games makes me VERY interested, especially those hard to get imports from Japan of FFV for Super Famicom. That's a huge sellpoint for me, and probably a ton of others out there who want the long lost MegaMan titles.

But PS3 will have the latest Final Fantasy titles, so that's what Imma buy

360 will have final fantasy titles as well. and 360 is carrying tons of worth while games, halo 3, halo wars, oblivion, fable 2, jade empire 2, gears of war, condemned, prey, deadrising, need for speed carbon....so many awsome titles heading our way that arnt already there!

I'm not saying the PS3 will suck, I'm a huge fan of the PS2 and I'm sure the PS3 will be pure awesome... But I respect Nintendo alot for their innovations. Just look at their controllers for example: The N64 controler was unlike anything seen before, then the gamecube was like a mix between the PS controller + the N64... And now, it's a fucking tilt-sensitive remote with a slot for add-ons.

It's cool if you prefer the PS3, but you could at LEAST give Nintendo their uber props. Also, ZELDA TWILIGHT PRINCESS!!!!!!!!!!!

FF13, possible Xeno- games, need I say more?

I give Microsoft props for picking up Halo, Elder Scrolls (Obliv & Morrowind), Jade Empire, Transworld's various sports games (snow/skate/surf), and Prince of Persia.

Also: My PS2 has never once crashed. It's smaller than an Xbox. It has more interesting games than Gamecube. In the future, I don't see how this will change much. My sister's Xbox has frozen about 10 times total, which is kind of annoying. And no, its not one of those first-edition ones that had so many problems. It happens to the systems my friends own as well. As for Nintendo, they haven't put out a game that seriously enticed me to buy their console since n64.

I think Nintendo's king of just fun games honestly. Sure, Sony and Microsoft have the crazy advanced games (Steel Battalion comes to mind), but Nintendo has games that are pure fun...ever play Mario Kart Double Dash wasted? So fun. I wanna try that with Smash Bros. one day.

Either way, each system has thier flaws and baises, and I for one am very biased towards RPGs, which is probably why I'll pick up the PS3 once it comes down from incredibly astronomical to slightly astronomical in price.

The price is really going to make people think about buying the PS3 while the cheap price of the Wii will make people really lean towards, especially those gamers who live in a house of friends
