As the topic says, what's your favorit sitcom? Oh and cartoons like The Simpson, South Park, Futurama, Family Guy etc. doesn't count.

Mine'll have to be:
  1. Married with Children
  2. Seinfeld
  3. Everybody Loves Raymon
  4. Unhappily ever after
Married With Children
This is diffently the best sitcom that has ever been send on international tv. I bet many of you people (since you're metalheads) knows this one, cause... well most metalheads I've met happens to love it too, don't know why, but guess that's the kinda humor we have :D. To that point, I just love Al bundies sight on life: "God created men, for the purpose of being pleased (isn't that what it's called?) by women.

Oh yeah, and let's not forget there No Ma'ams club:

Seinfeld
Seinfeld... the sitcom about nothing I just like it cause, they use the most stupid subject you can ever imagine, however I wish they didn't have Seinfeld himself in it, cause he really suck, and laughs at his own jokes... And well Kramer... That should say it all...

Everybody Loves Raymon
Hard to explain about what I like about this one, but guess it's cause Ray is so damn stupid, and.. well can't explain it, you probably have to watch it a couple of times before you like it.

Unhappily ever after
Even thou it's much of a Married With Children ripp off, I still like it even though, the plot is stolen from MWC, the parents that hates each other. It's still funny, there arent many of those kind of sitcoms anyways. The best thing is probably Mr. Flobby, for being such a love bunny doll thing...

Yeah, I know my arguments kinda suck, but I didn't feel like making a very long thread anyway.

My favourites are Family Guy, The Simpsons and South Park... But they don't count :(

So I think my favourite Sitcom is "Miodowe lata" - polish Sitcom... I also like Wings and "13 Posterunek" (polish sitcom again)... I also like this sitcom about 70' , but I don't remember it's name...

Over the years I've really gone off TV. But the shows that I have caught recently that were somewhat kool would be The Family Guy, Third Rock From The Sun, King Of Queens, South Park. Hands down, The Simpsons own.

We discussed this a while back, so I'll just link to that instead of typing the same thing again:

And goddamn, do I flame some shows there!! Ha ha ha!
I might also add that I incidently caught "Off centre" on the tele. I just thought it was just another stupid American sitcom, but I must admit that it's quite funny! I don't watch it that often though, as it gets broadcasted on Norwegian television at the same time as Simpsons is being shown on Danish tele.
I think "The king of Queens" is quite crappy! Basic American stupid wussy sitcom humor. And how the hell does a fat stupid dick like that get such a good looking wife?! Okay, she's no Heidi Klum of course, but it's totally unbelievable that he has a wife like that.
I've watched a bit "Everybody loves Raymond". I used to think it was really cool, but I don't really watch it anymore. I'll occasionally see a couple of minutes during commercials in the Simpsons, but now I've started turning to "Frasier" instead. Although "Frasier" really looks like something my parents would like, I must admit that I've started liking it. I also sometimes catch a little of "Spin city" and that's pretty cool as well! I like Michael J. Fox much better than Charlie Sheen though, as I think he's a pretty lame actor.
Oh yeah, the only thing I really liked about "Unhappy ever after" (which is a spin-off of "Married with children" and not really a rip-off) was that Nikkie Cox had big tits! Have you seen her show "Nikki"? Although I remember zapping around and seeing a couple of minutes of it and had a laugh or two, but goddamn, this is awful!! This is really what I think of and despise when I say stupid American sitcom. Yuk! :ill:

Seinfield, Frasier, Spin City, Damon.. yeah those four.

Board: yes tthe show Nikki sucks, in every way that is.. so ridiculous and bad actors.

Hmm.. I see you're also from Denmark like me :). The way I watch sitcoms (witch actually also involves The Simpsons) is that I watch 18:00 Everybody loves Raymond, then Seinfeld, then the two episodes of Simpsons and well not more...

But why are you calling 'Unhappily Ever After' a spin off and not a ripp off? Is it the same people that made it or what? Cause to be honest it's been along time since I last watched, so I can't really remember.

And yes, the only great thing about Nikki is her huge tits....

btw, I don't fucking get why I didn't find that other thread, cause I even used the damn search function to search for sitcom threads, but well fuck it, it's still here...

I love people who cite American television shows as their favorites but keep calling American tv stupid.:D TV everywhere is stupid overall. One must love The History Channel though.

As far as sitcoms go, don't watch many, but Seinfeld was the best. I would also say Fawlty Towers. Married with Children was of course great as was The Drew Carey show. Other than that, eh...I wish Conan O'Brien counted!

Black Books (short season on Comedy Central)
That 70's Show
Cheers

Those shows are great. Especially Black Books. I completely forgot about that one. I've only seen a couple of episodes but I was in stitches. Great British comedy.

The part were he called the clean up guys and told them he was eating scrambled eggs with a comb out of a shoe :D

About alf, well, he reminds me of the condom commercial. Ribbed for her pleasure.

Hmm...mine would be
South Park
Family Guy
Futurama
Simpsons
Married With Children
Beavis And Butthead (Teh fukkin win! :headbang: )
3rd Rock From The Sun

That's all I can think of right now...all of them except Married With Children and 3rd Rock From The Sun don't count under your rules. Fuck, cartoons like South Park are about the only decent sitcoms to come out in the past couple of years. And i would have Seinfeld up there, if he wouldn't have ended such a great sitcom the way he did. :yell:

That's satire and cartoon shows, not sitcoms.

Does anyone remeber 'Punky Bruster'? And that show that had the robot girl? What the fuck was it called? Some dude built a robot as his daughter.

As a kid I used to love these shows and Benson, Silver Spoons, Different Strokes.

I saw something about "Unhappily ever after" at albundy.co.uk, but I don't think that site exists anymore. I think it was something about the same people made it. It was listed as a spin-off at least.
Although "Nikki" is horrible and Nikki Cox isn't really that super good looking I can't turn of the tv when it's on, as I keep staring at her tits! o_O
The search function is a bit fucked at the moment I think, as I've searched for several things, but couldn't find any!

Yeah, I know it sounds stupid, but when I think "stupid american sitcoms" I think of stuff like King of Queens, Nikki, Kirstie Alley Show, Step by Step, Full House, The Nanny, etc. and not Married with children, Futurama, etc. Just like when I think "Stupid american films" I think of films like "Black hawk down", "Remember the Titans", "Air force one", etc. and not "Awakenings", "Casino", "Fried green tomatoes", etc.

The Simpsons.
