I didn't know there was a new Menhir, but I've heard the other two.


I personally preferred the new Manegarm to new Ensiferum, though, as their previous albums go, I wasn't expecting that.

There are heaps of other good ones (Turisas, Ensiferum, Thryfing, SuidAkrA etc) but I enjoy Korpiklaani the most.

I heard the new Menhir. It is too upbeat and happy sounding for me, and also has too many clean vocals. You still might like it, though. It is definitely still folk/pagan metal with some black metal overtones.
